Every Mothers Nightmare

So Josh's parents were at Mesquite with us for the softball games and they were going to watch Ryker for us on Saturday Night so us and Katie and Pat could go out to the Casino's. So we went and after a while Katie and Pat were done but we still wanted to stay out for a bit longer so Katie talked me into letting her just get Ryker and letting him sleep in her room because Pat wakes up early and he could play with Ryker so we could sleep in if we wanted to. SO I told he that was fine and she got Ryker out of the parents Room and went to bed no problems. But a bit later Carrie (josh's mom) heard some voices about a 21/2 year old and she immediatley jumped out of bed and at that same time Katie heard it as well and she ran to Rykers bed and he was GONE. They both opened the door to 2 secerity guards and 4 police officers and immediatly told them that Ryker was not in his bed anymore. Well Little Ryker decided he wanted Daddy in the middle of the night and was out walking up and down the sidewalks crying for daddy for at least an hour. Finally some nice guy heard him and took him in his room and called security, and security called the police. They questioned and questioned about what Ryker looked like and what he was wearing and wanted to see everyones ID before they would give Ryker back they wouldn't even tell us if he was ok or not. Then the nice man came around the corner with Ryker wrapped up in a baby blanket and all he wanted was grandpa and daddy. It took about an hour for him to finally settle down to go back to sleep. But how lucky are we that some nice family guy is the one who found him and not some weirdo in this world.
